PURPOSE: A single chip data processing device embedded with a non-volatile semiconductor memory device and an operation method thereof are provided, which improves a write access time during a system operation. CONSTITUTION: A data storing device(130) is connected to an address bus and a data bus and a control bus, and performs a data storing function. A peripheral device(140) is connected to the data bus and the address bus to perform a communication connection with the external. A non-volatile memory device(120) is connected to the system bus and stores program commands. A central processing unit(100) is connected to the address bus and the data bus and the control bus, and performs a reading and decoding function of the commands stored in the non-volatile memory device, and also performs a reading and a processing function of data stored in the data storing device, and restores its result. And a cache memory device(110) is connected to the address bus and the data bus and the control bus and the non-volatile memory device, and performs a storing function by being matched to each sector of the non-volatile memory device one to one.
