PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is capable of simultaneously displaying video signals of more systems without increasing a circuit scale. SOLUTION: A CPU 13 arranges writing domains M1αto M1εfor respective video signals Sαto Sεin continuous address domains by parameter setting to a register 24. Further, the CPU assigns the writing domains M1αto M1εas a read-out region M2a associated with a certain hardware window. A control circuit 23 successively changes over a selector 21 at the prescribed timing and writes the images of the channels outputted by the selector 21 on writing domains of the channel selected with the selector 21 by referencing the register 24. The control circuit 23 decides whether the respective pictures indicating a display screen are the pictures within the domain of the hardware window or not when successively transferring these pictures to a display 4 and reads the data out of the read-out region M2a corresponding to this domain if the pictures are within the domain.
