PURPOSE: A 3-position interlock mechanism for a vacuum circuit breaker is provided to stably process an operation test of the vacuum circuit breaker by separating a test position and a disconnection position into a 3-position. CONSTITUTION: A 3-position interlock mechanism comprises tripping mechanism parts, closing mechanism parts, and interlock device units. The tripping mechanism parts open automatically the vacuum breaker by a rotating operation of a rack handle. The closing mechanism parts release automatically a closing spring by the rotating operation of the rack handle. The interlock device units change into a connection, a disconnection, and a test position. The interlock device units include interlock control parts(a) having the rack handle for controlling a rack interlock, auto interlock mechanism parts(b) fixed to the vacuum breaker, draw-out parts(c), and gear mechanism parts(d) having a gear support, gears, and a gear holder.
