<p>A device for dermabrasion of the skin by means of effleurage with an abrasive comprising a manoeuvrable box (10) and drive mechanisms for the abrasive. The device is intended, in particular, for cosmetic skin treatments known as micro-epidermabrasion. The device comprises an arc-shaped abrasive surface (30) held by a support (32) mounted in or on the box (10, 18) to create an oscillating movement that enables the arc-shaped abrasive surface (30) to oscillate around its axis. A bearing surface (40) surrounds the abrasive surface (30) on at least two opposing sides, leaving a clearance to allow the oscillating movement. The device is fitted in such a way as to allow, through the application of the bearing surface (44) against the skin (50) and around the area of the skin to be treated, the effleurage of said area of the skin by means of the oscillating abrasive surface. A micro-abrasion of the skin is thereby performed by means of the oscillating arc-shaped abrasive surface (30) applied gently against the skin with the bearing surface (40) preventing any injury or penetration beyond the epidermis.</p> |
