PURPOSE: A method for selecting the menus of a mobile terminal is provided to introduce a favorites function in a mobile terminal so that a user can directly access a desired service through the favorites menu in a state that frequently used functions are previously stored. CONSTITUTION: If a mobile terminal user sets frequently used functions as a favorites menu, the mobile terminal registers them(S11). If the user selects the favorites menu(S13), the mobile terminal displays the items registered in the favorites menu on the LCD(S15). If the user selects one of the displayed items(S17), the mobile terminal provides the service of the selected item(S19).
