FRINGE FIELD SWITCHING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A fringe field switching liquid crystal display is provided to allow the first and second pixel electrodes have the same capacitance to remove image sticking and improve picture quality. CONSTITUTION: A fringe field switching liquid crystal display includes the first and second pixel electrodes(3,7), an insulating layer(5) formed between the first and second pixel electrodes, and a dielectric layer(9) having a low dielectric constant. The first and second pixel electrodes are formed of the same material having transmissivity of above 60%. The first and second pixel electrodes have the same thickness. The dielectric layer is formed of SiNx or polymer having transmissivity of above 60%.
