PURPOSE: An idle valve control system is provided to achieve an in-advance prevention against damages of components by controlling the ISC valve to maintain a smooth oil pressure and air volume upon occurrence of emergency. CONSTITUTION: An idle valve control system comprises a first step of permitting an electronic control unit to judge a rapid deceleration from the brake hydraulic change value obtained from the initial operation of the pressure sensor and the initial time of the rapid deceleration; a second step of comparing a reference value for emergency with the rapid deceleration signal input from the electronic control unit; a third step of judging as an emergency and inhibiting operation of the ISC valve if the rapid deceleration signal is higher than the reference value for emergency; and a fourth step of allowing for operation of the ISC valve if the rapid deceleration signal is lower than the reference value for emergency.
