PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adsorption elements and a humidity controller which have an excellent dehumidifying effect and can be made compact. SOLUTION: At least two adsorption elements 1 and 2 which are formed by alternately laminating the first air passage parts 3 having water absorption/ desorption properties and the second air passage parts 4 having no water absorption/desorption property are installed in parallel. The first air passage parts 3 of the first adsorption element 1 are functioned as passages for adsorbing moisture from passing air. Air which passed through the second air passage parts 4 of the first adsorption element 1 is passed through the first air passage parts 3 of the second adsorption element 2, and the water of the first air passage parts 3 of the second adsorption element 2 is released.
