PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sintered body of rare-earth alloy having high dimensional accuracy with high production efficiency by using granulated powder of rare-earth alloy. SOLUTION: This method comprises steps of preparing powder of rare-earth alloy, forming the powder into granulated powder by the use of an organic binder, pressing a rare-earth alloy powder material containing the granulated power whose water content is controlled to <=0.02 mass% to form a green compact, and sintering the green compact.
