PURPOSE: A dampness preventing structure for a manipulation dial of a washing machine is provided to discharge dampness via orifices communicated from an outer tube part to an inner tube part, thereby preventing the foggy outer tube part or the rusty inner tube part. CONSTITUTION: A dampness preventing structure for a manipulation dial of a washing machine includes a hollow cylindrical outer tube part(21) of which a side is sealed and formed of transparent injection-molded plastic, a hollow cylindrical inner tube part(22) formed of opaque injection-molded metal to be inserted into the outer tube part and having a coupling part in the center to be connected to a controller for the manipulation of the controller, and at least one or more orifices(24) penetrating a side of a side surface of the outer tube part for discharging the dampness introduced via a gap between the outer and inner tube parts. |
