PURPOSE: A belly airbag apparatus for an infant is provided to prevent the infant from being damaged when a vehicle accident occurs by breaking a sewing part of the belly airbag apparatus when the belly airbag apparatus is developed. CONSTITUTION: A belly airbag apparatus includes an inflator(12) connected to an impact sensor so as to inflate and develop an airbag(11). The inflator(12) is accommodated in one side of a seat back(10). The airbag(11) is connected to a front of the inflator(12). The airbag(11) has an elongate tube shape and is provided at an end thereof with a tongue(13). A buckle(14) for restraining or releasing the tongue(13) is provided at the other side of the seat back(10) equipped with the inflator(12). The airbag(11) is sewed in a bending state and a guide string is formed at an outer side of the airbag(11).
