PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device capable of reducing the number of parts of a fluid suction mechanism of a fluid operation means for supplying working fluid to a fluid coupling and a wet type friction clutch and having the fluid coupling and the wet type friction clutch easy to be worked. SOLUTION: This power transmission device having the fluid coupling operated by an engine and the wet type friction clutch disposed between the fluid coupling and a transmission is provided with a coupling housing provided with a fluid coupling storing chamber and a friction clutch storing chamber. In the coupling housing, an opening is provided at a bottom wall constituting the friction clutch storing chamber and a drop passage is provided to communicate a suction passage communicated with a part of the opening and the other part of the opening. An oil pan for covering the opening is mounted on a bottom surface of the coupling housing.
