PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fender device capable of preventing the shear deformation of a buffer while ensuring a necessary compression length in the direction of the axis and having the excellence in productivity, economical efficiency and setting efficiency (setting work and setting area). SOLUTION: The fender device constituted of a plurality of buffers (1A and 1B) connected in the direction of the axis in series, a spacer (2) lying between the buffers and having guide bar receivers (5), a shock receiving plate (3) mounted on the front ends of the buffers and guide bars (4) projected from a setting bedrock (10) is so constituted that the buffer (1B) between the setting bedrock (10) and the spacer (2) having the guide bar receivers can be only deformed in the direction of the axis by a pair of guide bars (4) and the guide gar receivers (5) and that three or more guide bar receivers (5) are provided to a part of the spacer located outward from the buffer or located inward of the buffer.
