PURPOSE: A mobile communication device capable of mounting/dismounting a memory is provided to mount/dismount a memory by using a board for a memory only and classifying a basic memory and an extension memory using a socket in an interface between a CPU and a memory. CONSTITUTION: A flash 1(21) stores data although a power is cut-off, boots and embodies a simple software function. The flash 1(21) is connected to an SRAM(Static RAM) 1(22) through a socket of the first interface(27). The SRAM 1(22) memorizes stored contents while a power is supplied only and is connected to the flash 1(21). A flash 2(23), which is an extension memory, stores data although a power is cut-off and is connected to an SRAM 2(24) through a socket of the second interface(28). The SRAM 1(24), which is an extension memory, memorizes stored contents while a power is supplied only, is connected to the flash 2(23), and helps an extension of a memory. An EEPROM(Electronically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory)(25) erases electrically stored contents, records new contents, and takes the place of the flash 1(21) and the flash 2(23). The CPU(26) controls the flash 1(21), the flash 2(23), SRAM 1(22), SRAM 2(24), and the EEPROM(25). The first interface(27) connects the flash 1(21) to the SRAM 1(22). The second interface(28) connects the flash 2(23) to the SRAM 2(24). The third interface(29) is provided for connecting to the EEPROM(25).
