PRIMER FOR WHOLE LENGTH cDNA SYNTHESIS AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a polynucleotide encoding a new protein and the protein encoded by the polynucleotide and to provide their new uses. SOLUTION: A 5602 cDNA encoding human protein is isolated. Base sequences at 5' side and 3' side of the cDNA are elucidated. A primer for whole length cDNA synthesis is provided based on the obtained base sequences and the function of the protein encoded by the cDNA is elucidated. Since the cDNA has the whole length, the cDNA contains a translation initiation site and provides information useful in function analysis of protein.
