PURPOSE: An optical cross connection apparatus in wavelength division multiplex apparatus is provided to implement an optical cross connection by using a space switching, thereby removing a bottleneck phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A laser(100) emits light having the tuned wavelength, An optical filter(110) filters the light according to the tuned wavelength. A space switch(120) is constituted by a CLOS network. An optical inside connector(130) connects the space switch(120) to a star coupler. The star coupler(140) routes a cross connection route. The laser(100) is a tunable laser(100) capable of tuning the wavelength. If the laser(100) performs the tuning dynamically, the used wavelength can be reused and so the component of the whole system can be reduced.
