PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for lens which has a high refractive index and excels in the properties of a cured product such as restoring properties and mar resistance. SOLUTION: The resin composition for the lens comprises (A) phenylthioethyl (meth)acrylate and (B) a reactive compound excluding component (A). The reactive compound (B) excluding component (A) is preferably one or more kinds selected from a urethane (meth)acrylate, an epoxy (meth)acrylate, and a polyester (meth)acrylate. Further, the cured product of the resin composition is preferably used for lenses.
