The oil sump filter (10) has at least two inlets (18, 20), each of which can be closed by the closing device (22), so as to avoid the interruption of the oil flow into the filter, when the layer of oil is inclined relative to the horizontal (H). The closing device forms an axial closing chamber (28), which has an upper face (30), with at least one opening (17, 19) to supply the pump, and the lower face (34), with the supply inlets. An inertial spacer (36) is in contact with both faces, has axial ports (38) and is mounted to slide around to select the required oil inlet.
