<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain increasing of an engine output while knocking can be surely prevented by adequately setting the length of an intake pipe, relating to an internal combustion engine with supercharger suited for use in an internal combustion engine of cylinder injection type directly injecting fuel into a cylinder and in an internal combustion engine provided with an intercooler. SOLUTION: In this internal combustion engine, having a supercharger 50, the length of an intake pipe comprising an intake manifold 25 connected to a cylinder 3 and an air intake port 11A is set to the length weakening an inertia supercharge effect in an intermediate speed region of the engine.</p> |
