PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for a key scan are provided to reduce the load of a process and to recognize effectively the pressure of many keys at the same time. CONSTITUTION: An interrupt gets enabled when the processor makes the interrupt be initialized. The interrupt is generated when pushing or being apart from the key. Also, when the first interrupt is generated, the processor recognizes a start interrupt by initializing a start key flag in zero(202). The processor checks if the relevant interrupt occurs(204). If the interrupt does not occur, the processor keeps the stand-by state. Otherwise, the processor performs the interrupt service routine(206).
