PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating exterior wall preventing dew condensation from occurring on an intermediate face plate due to retention of air within a space formed between the intermediate and inside face plates of the exterior wall of a building. SOLUTION: The inside face plate 2 is arranged in a place 1a on the indoor side of a column material 1, and the intermediate face plate 3 is arranged in a place 1b on the outdoor side of the column material 1. An external facing face plate 6 is arranged on an outdoor side face 3a of the face plate 3 via a permeable waterproofing sheet 4 and vertical furring strips 5, and a ventilating gap 9 is formed between the face plates 3 and 6. A thermal insulating material 7 is infilled between the face plates 2 and 3, and plural vent holes 31 are pierced so as to penetrate from the side face 3a of the face plate 3 to an indoor side face 3b thereof.
