Calibration standards of different length are created by serial connection of angle elements, so that the total length of the calibration circuit is equal to that of a calibration length. The angle elements are dimensioned so that field and current distortion near to bends or kinks can be compensated by suitable measures with the distance between bends chosen so that their interference effects can be compensated over the connection piece.
