PURPOSE: A piston valve for a shock absorber is provided to mount multiple disks by forming plural sheets and to improve traveling safety and riding feeling by controlling damping force. CONSTITUTION: A piston valve of a shock absorber comprises a body(21) mounted on a piston valve(20); an extension passage(29) penetrating the body; plural compressing passages(28) formed on an outer portion of the extension passage; a sheet face formed on a lower portion of the body; first, second and third sheets(32,33,34) formed on the compressing passage from the extension passage; a high speed multiple disk(40) mounted on the first sheet; a middle speed multiple disk installed on the second sheet; a low speed multiple disk placed on the third sheet; and plural slits(40a) formed on the multiple disks. Fluid generates damping force by passing the first slit of the high speed multiple disks through the extension passage of the body. Thereby, the piston valve for the shock absorber improves traveling safety and riding feeling by mounting the multiple disks.
