NOZZLE ASSEMBLY FOR COOLING PRECOOLER

PURPOSE: A nozzle assembly for cooling precooler is provided to early and constantly cool the strip by constantly eject air on the galvanized surface of the strip from cooling section of the precooler to form uniformed product surface after galvanizing the surface of a strip. CONSTITUTION: In a nozzle assembly which is installed at cooling section of a precooler to eject air supplied from an air supply source onto the strip at both sides of proceeding path of the strip so as to cool liquid zinc on the surface of a strip that is being proceeded after it is galvanized, the nozzle assembly for cooling a precooler comprises a cylindrical pipe(17) on which a jet slit(21) is formed along a length direction corresponding to a width direction of the strip; brushes(25a,25b) installed inside the cylindrical pipe(17); rotation motors for moving the brushes(25a,25b) along a length direction of the cylindrical pipe(17); rotation motors for rotating the brushes(25a,25b); and rotation shafts(31a,31b) connecting the brushes(25a,25b) to the rotation motors.
