PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool replacing device in which a next tool can be mounted on the spindle without keeping a tool replacing arm on standby state until a mountable tool pot is indexed, when housing a large diameter in a magazine. SOLUTION: A twin type tool replacing arm is separated. Each of separated arms are composed of a pair of arm members 2A and 2B which can be swiveled independently. The tool replacing device is provided with a swivel fitting member which fits at least one of the pair of arm members and pivot 1, and a connection switching member which comprises a fixed switching member locking either of the pair of arm members 2A and 2B so as not to rotate when the spindle 1 is swiveled. By so doing, whereby an arm member on the side of a next tool is swiveled in advance to be mounted on the spindle.
