PURPOSE: A WLL(Wireless Local Loop) RIU(Radio Interface Unit) containing a diagnostic function is provided to diagnose operation information more efficiently by adding a diagnostic hardware module to a WLL RIU. CONSTITUTION: A WLL RIU communicating with a WLL system by wireless consists of an RF part(100), a modem part(110), a data module(130), a voice module(140), a DM(Diagnostic Monitor) module(150), an input-output part(160), and a CPU(160). The RF part(100) communicates with a WLL RP(Radio Port). The modem part(110), connected to the RF part(100), executes up converting and down converting. The data module(130), connected to the modem part(110), processes data signals. The voice module(140), connected with the modem part(110), executes voice signal processing. The DM module(150), connected with the modem part(110), processes diagnostic information. The input-output part(160), connected with the data module(130), the voice module(140) and the DM module(150), is interfaced with an external output part, an external input part and an external data port. The control part(160) monitors and controls each part, and also stores data. |
