PORTABLE PHONE AND SMART CARD CONTAINING DEDICATED SHORT RANGE COMMUNICATION HIGH-SPEED WIRELESS MODEM CHIPS

PURPOSE: A portable phone and a smart card containing dedicated short range communication high-speed wireless modem chips is provided to transmit and receive mass data at a high speed by embedding dedicated short range communication dedicated high-speed wireless in a portable phone and a smart card respectively. CONSTITUTION: A portable phone(120) contains a dedicated short range communication high-speed wireless modem chip(121), a mobile signal processing modem chip(122), and a processor(123). A smart card(130) contains a high-speed wireless modem chip(131) and an authentication and encoding/decoding processing integrated circuit chip(132). An authentication center(110) comprises a user authentication database(111). If an authentication request message is received from the authentication center(110), the portable phone(120) transfers the received message to the smart card(130). Receiving a processed content from the smart card(130), the portable phone(120) transfers it to the authentication center(110).
