The carton has the form of a triangular prism when closed and can be opened to form a rectangular tray containing the product. The base of the carton has two transverse folds (10) and the sides (3) have sloping folds (15) which begin at the transverse folds and converge towards the tops of the sides. A second set of sloping folds (20, 21) forms tabs which are tucked in to close the carton.
