PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that can surely ring a striking sound by a lock arm. SOLUTION: A lock protrusion 23 which can be locked to a lock convex 13 fitted in a male housing M is set in protrusion at a front rip of a lock arm 18. Striking parts 26 are also set in protrusion at positions deviated to either side in the width direction from the lock protrusion 23. In a process of insertion- coupling of both housings M, F, the lock protrusion 23 strikes against and come astride the locking convex 13 to have the lock arm 18 bend in deformation. When the both housings M, F come into a proper insertion-coupled state, the lock protrusion 23 goes over the lock convex 13 to allow the lock arm 18 to return from deformation, whereby, the both housings M, F are locked by the locking of lock protrusion 23 to the rear face of the lock convex. Here, the vicinity of the striking part 26 located at the tip of the lock arm 18 is hit hard onto the top face of the male housing M to make a large sound.
