摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase largely the speed of a packet scheduling, by avoiding reduction of its throughput caused by the increase of the number of the stages of its pipe-line processing. SOLUTION: At least first and second intermediate data are stored in an intermediate-calculation-result storing means 4. The first intermediate data are necessary for calculating the ideal outputting time of a first packet data to be outputted firstly from each queue. The second intermediate date are necessary for calculating the ideal outputting time of a second packet data to be so outputted that it follows the first packet data. Then, there is adopted, as the first intermediate data relative to a new first packet data of the queue, the second intermediate data relative to the second packet data belonging to the same queue as the first packet data which is determined by a transmission- packet-data determining means 10 that it must be outputted with the maximum priority. Subsequently, the second intermediate data are read out from the intermediate-calculation-result storing means 4, together with the first intermediate data relative to the first packet data belonging to other queues, as to output them thereafter to a calculating means 5.</p>
