PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting or processing a correlation value for indicating the correlation between a reception signal and a diffusion code for reproducing data in spectrum diffusion communication. SOLUTION: A digital matched filter 21 outputs correlation value data for indicating the correlation between the reception signal and the diffusion code. An adder 41 adds a correction value for allowing the central value in a range where the correlation value data can take to reach '10000000' to the correlation value data. A detection section 42 outputs the uppermost bit of the output of the adder 41 as phase information, and at the same time outputs a row of bits excluding the uppermost bit as corrected correlation value data. When the corrected correlation value data are equal to or less than the central value, the data are folded back to the positive side with the central value as the center. |
