The invention relates to a self-locking valve assembly applicable to fire extingushing equipments and pressure vessels containing liquid substances, powder and gases. According to the invention, the self-locking valve assemly comprises a cylindrical body (2) whose discharge body is isolated with a front cover (4), said cylindrical body (2) accomodating an obturating assembly (A) provided with an intermediate body (6) locked by means of a retaining nut (12) and the intermediate body (6) accomodates a locking valve (9) whose central rod allows the opening of the obturating assembly (A) by compressing a helical spring (10).
