PURPOSE: Provided is an antifreeze composition containing methanol and benzotriazole, which can improve productivity and reduce pollution, therefore, it can contribute the management friendly to environment. CONSTITUTION: The antifreeze composition comprises 76-99wt% of distilled water and 24-1wt% of the methanol or comprises 24-1wt% of the methanol, 0.1-2wt% of the benzotriazole, and the balance being the distilled water. The methanol has a high cooling efficiency and the benzotriazole has a corrosion-resistance against metal materials of equipment contact with a cooling water solution. |
