APPARATUS FOR ROUNDING END PART OF STRIP FOR PREVENTING END MARKING OF COIL TYPE COLD ROLLED STRIP

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method are provided to remove surface defect of end marking formed on the surface of a strip by step profile of the top part of a coil during online coiling of the coil. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for rounding the end part of the strip for preventing end marking of a coil type cold rolled strip comprises a flying shear frame(27); a flying shear upper knife(28) adhered onto the flying shear frame(27); an upper rounding part which is fixed to the flying shear frame(27), a lower surface of which is formed in a curved surface, and which is fixed to the flying shear frame(27) regardless of the flying shear upper knife(28) during cutting operation of the flying shear; a flying shear lower knife(29) corresponding to the flying shear upper knife(28); a lower rounding part slid to the flying shear lower knife(29); and a driving means ascending the lower rounding part to the upper rounding part so that the lower rounding part is cut, wherein the top part of the strip is rounded after the flying shear cuts the strip.
