The invention relates to a device, particularly an electroluminescent display device, comprising two or more parts which define a cavity for accommodating one ore more components, such as an electroluminescent element, and which are sealed together by means of a thermosetting adhesive present at the interface of the two or more parts. At least one channel is provided in said interface.
