<p>A catalyst for olefin polymerization which comprises: a promoter ingredient comprising a finely particulate support and, bonded thereto through chemical linkage, a compound having a non-coordinating ion; a metallocene compound; and a specific hydrocarbon. The catalyst, even after storage, retains intact activity and can give an olefin polymer reduced in solvent-soluble content without widening the molecular weight distribution. Also provided are a catalyst component for olefin polymerization and a process for producing a propylene polymer with these.</p> |
