PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller chain sprocket capable of substantially preventing the collision of a chain roller with a sprocket tooth from the radial direction. SOLUTION: The roller chain has plural roller members 50 mounted in a state that a center of a roller is separated by a length of a chain pitch. A sprocket has a pitch cycle 80 corresponding to the length of the chain pitch of the roller chain. The sprocket has plural teeth mounted at intervals on an outer periphery and circular arc-shaped dedendum parts 60 formed between the adjacent teeth 100. A radius 90 of each dedendum part 60 is equal to a distance from the dedendum part 60 to a position substantially located at a center between the teeth 100 adjacent to the dedendum part 60 on the pitch cycle 80, and the dedendum radius 90 is larger than a roller radius of the roller member 50. Whereby the collision in the radial direction of the roller member 50 with the sprocket tooth can be substantially prevented, and the noise can be reduced.
