PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing for improving seizure resistance of a contact part by adjusting a positional relation of an intersection position of a chamfering part and a plane part of a roller need face and an intersection position of flange surfaces of an outer ring and an inner ring and a relief part for grinding. SOLUTION: Oil films are surely formed within the roller 5 and a flange surface 3a in the rolling contact part and seizure resistance can be prevented or reduced by making the intersection position A of the chamfering part 5c and the plane part 5d of the roller end face 5b on the radial direction small diameter side in an outer ring flange part 3 and the radial direction large diameter side in an inner ring flange part 3, respectively, of the intersection point C of the flange surface 3a and the relief part 4 for grinding.
