EMBLEM MOUNTING STRUCTURE AND EMBLEM MOUNTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emblem mounting structure and emblem mounting method constituted to improve work. SOLUTION: Main body parts are composed of two parts; an outer peripheral member 1 and an inner peripheral member 2. The inner peripheral member 2 is positioned and fixed by being held down from above by the outer peripheral member 1. The front end of the outer peripheral member 1 is provided with claws 3 at two points which fit to a main body cover 6 to prevent floating. If the outer peripheral member 1 and the main body cover 6 are securely fixed, the inner peripheral member 2 is positioned even without any particular arrangement. A both side adhesive tape 4 is stuck to the rear surface of the main body cover 6 in such a manner that the main body cover acts between both parts in the state of combining the outer peripheral member 1 and the inner peripheral member 2. The outer peripheral member 1 and inner peripheral member 2 of the emblem can be handled like an integral material by the presence of the both side adhesive tape 4, by which the workability in a process step of assembling to the main body cover 6 is greatly improved and simultaneously the easy positioning is assured.
