NOISE DETECTOR FOR ENGINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise detector for an engine capable of evaluating the mechanical noise (in particular, noise of fuel injection system) by taking out only a component of mechanical noise from the engine vibration. SOLUTION: An output signal from a vibration detecting means 6 detecting the vibration of the engine 1, is detected through a filter having the frequency characteristic 7a reflecting the characteristic of the fuel injection noise. Therefore only the noise component caused by the fuel injection system can be detected from the vibration of the engine.
