PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable composition and a photopolymerizable planographic printing plate having high sensitivity as well as superior printing resistance. SOLUTION: The photopolymerizable composition contains (A) a polymer binder containing a constitutional unit of formula (I) [where R31 is methyl or H; R32 is alkyl or H; and V is the residue of an epoxy-containing ethylenically unsaturated compound] and a constitutional unit of formula (II) [where R31 is methyl or H; R34 is alkyl or H; R37 is carboxyl, carboxylic ester, cyano or phenyl; when two or more symbols R34 and two or more symbols R37 are present, the two or more symbols R34 may be different from each other and the two or more symbols R37 may be different from each other; and (n) is an integer of 10-1,000], (B) an ethylenically unsaturated compound and (C) a photopolymerization initiator. The photopolymerizable planographic printing plate is obtained by forming a layer of the photopolymerizable composition on the surface of a base.
