PURPOSE: A burner for reducing nitrogen oxide is provided to remarkably save the energy and to reduce an amount of nitrogen oxide by lowering a maximum temperature of a flame. CONSTITUTION: A burner(1) for reducing nitrogen oxide includes fuel inlet(21), a fuel nozzle(22) a plurality of combustion air inlets(23a,23b), air passages, a plurality of combustion air nozzles(24a,24b), and a plurality of heat accumulating members. The heat accumulating members are made of ceramic and have a spherical shape. The fuel nozzle(22) is surrounded by the plurality of combustion air nozzles(24a,24b) which are positioned in the air passages. The plurality of heat accumulating members are installed in the air passages. The air passage is divided into left and right parts about the fuel nozzle(22).
