PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a PTP sheet in which a film forming some scraps after cutting a continuous PTP sheet can be easily separated from an aluminum film, and to provide an aluminum film used in the PTP sheet. SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a PTP sheet in which a continuous PTP sheet 5 formed by heat pressing an aluminum foil film 3 against a thermoplastic resin film 1 filled with some tablets or the like in its pockets 2 is cut into discrete PTP sheets 5a and transferred to a subsequent stage. An area ranging from at least a side edge in a widthwise direction of the continuous PTP sheet 5 to a location near a cutting line 7 of each of the discrete PTP sheets 5a is applied as a non-heat pressing region 9.
