摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible ray photoreaction type titanium oxide particle, a base material and building material having a titanium oxide-containing coating film capable of exhibiting effectively the photocatalytic action of titanium oxide by exposing the titanium oxide particles on the surface, and to provide a manufacturing method of those items. SOLUTION: An adhesive (silicon based resin adhesive or the like) is applied on the base material (wall paper, ceiling material or the like), and before the coating film is completely cured, the visible ray reaction type titanium oxide particle 1 composed of a support (zeolite or the like), a tungsten/titanium multiple oxide coating film covering the support and appatite covering the coating film is sprayed on the coating film so as to be exposed on the surface. After that, the particle is fixed by the natural drying of the adhesive to obtain the base material having titanium oxide-containing coating film, on the surface of which the visible ray reaction type titanium oxide particle is exposed.
