PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch detecting device for a pachinko game machine by which electric discharge is prevented from occurring between a game player and a touch electrode member even when the game player partially charged with static electricity touches a handle grip and also a malfunction is prevented from occurring in a shooting control baseboard (shooting device). SOLUTION: The touch detecting device 1 is constituted in such a way that an insulating body is provided between the game player and the touch electrode member 2 so as to permit the game player not to be brought into contact with the touch electrode member 2. By the configuration, a speak is prevented from occurring between the player and the member 2 even when the game player with static electricity touches the handle grip 5 and also discharged static electricity is prevented from flowing to the shooting control baseboard 4 to cause the malfunction in the baseboard 4 (shooting device).
