PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium for an air filter having high strength and rigidity that is made of a zeolite-cellulose composite material having high air-permeability applicable even to an air ventilation filter. SOLUTION: The filter medium is composed of at least two components of a zeolite-cellulose composite material consisting of a constitution containing a zeolite crystal in a cellulose structure and a thermally fusible conjugated fiber composed of at least two kinds of thermoplastic resins different in melting point, and the thermally fusible conjugated fiber are fused in a sheet-like state while fiber shape is maintained.
