PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die device for a turret punch press which does not require a job such as adjustment of a punch in accordance with change in the thickness of a work or the variance of the overall length of an upper die. SOLUTION: In this die device for the turret punch press for applying marking work to a work 7 between an upper die 4 provided on an upper turret 2 and a lower die 5 provided on a lower turret 3, a base end side of a punch 4b having a marking part 4k on a tip part is slidably inserted in a body 4a of the upper die 4, and an elastic means 12 is interposed between the base end part of the punch 4b and the body 4a. Even when the overall length of the upper die 4 is diversified by changes, variance of the thickness of the work 7 to be marked and dimensional errors, the elastic means 12 is compressed to absorb these factors, and thus, it is unnecessary to adjust the overall length of the upper die 4 every time when the thickness of the work 7 is diversified, or adjust the height of the punch 4b according to the variance of the overall length of the upper die 4.
