PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding machine for mold with which hardness of the mold is made optional to obtain required height, with respect to the molding machine for mold, in which molding sand filled into a molding chamber demarcated with a flask body, a pattern plate and a squeeze plate or the molding flask on the pattern plate is squeezed by shifting the squeeze plate to manufacture the mold. SOLUTION: A electrically driven cylinder 14 with a brake for shifting the squeeze plates 7, 15, is arranged, and a load detecting means for detecting this loading quantity and a brake controlling means for controlling the working time of the brake, are electrically connected with this electrically driven cylinder 14 with the brake. In this way, since the point of time when the load detecting means detects a setting value, the operation of the electrically driven cylinder 14 with the brake is temporarily stopped for a required time by the function of the brake controlling means.
