PURPOSE: A device for automatically separating floating matters of coke wastewater tank is provided to remove floating matters effectively using filtration plate. Furthermore, the filtration plate can be used with cylinder and adsorption hood and that makes it possible to reduce expenses of wastewater treatment. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises: a pair of supplementary tanks(10) which has an inlet pipe(11) and an opening/shutting valve(12) at the side thereof; a vertical cylinder(22) which operates a solenoid valve(21) in opening and shutting process; a filtration plate which has a wire net and a filter medium layer on the vertical cylinder; a pair of separation tanks(20) which has a water level sensor(26) and a limit switch(27) at the upper part of an inside wall in the housing; a touch bar which delivers reverse rotation signal to a motor when brought into contact with the limit switch and adsorbs the floating matters filtered by the filtration plate; a bearing which is installed on the vertical cylinder and fixes the touch bar; an adsorption hood(30) which has a touch bar; a controller which delivers rotation signal to motor and operation signal to valves by receiving electric signal from the water level sensor.
