PURPOSE: An acoustooptic output modulating method of a high output cutting Nd:YAG laser and an apparatus thereof are provided to generate a laser beam having a good cutting process feature within a limit which is transmitted to an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A laser oscillator oscillates a continuous oscillation Nd:YAG laser. An optical sound output modulator adjusts a high frequency electromagnetic wave intensity with respect to the continuous oscillation Nd:YAG laser and acoustooptically modulates an output. A reflecting mirror(16) reflects a light in order to change a path of a light output having acoustooptically modulated optimal pulse row. A condensing lens and an optical fiber condense and transmit the acoustooptically modulated and reflected light output to an optical fiber(18) of a quartz. A condensing section condenses the acoustooptically modulated light on a cutting process surface(12).
